Lucy Wolcott Barnum Chapter NSDAR - Adrian, Michigan

 

The Lucy Wolcott Barnum Chapter was organized in 1909 by Louise Barnum Robbins in Adrian, Michigan. She was unanimously reelected as Regent until 1917. The Chapter was named for the great grandmother, Lucy Wolcott Barnum, of the Founding Regent. The Chapter was formally organized April 19th, 1909 with our Charter issued on October 10th, 1910.

the DAR

Founded in 1890, the DAR is committed to preserving the memory and spirit of those who contributed to American independence. The four women who founded the DAR helped to form the DAR’s lasting mission of promoting three key areas: historic preservation, education and patriotism.
